Immersion

Immersion lessons (for Playa Vista 90094 residents only with security card access to pool)

A swimming immersion week is an intensive, short-term program designed to enhance participants' swimming skills through concentrated, daily sessions. Typically lasting a week, this program involves multiple days of practice, often with sessions held every day. The primary goals of a swimming immersion week include:

  1. Skill Improvement: Participants work on various swimming techniques, strokes, and skills, with focused instruction and practice.

  2. Confidence Building: Frequent sessions help swimmers build confidence in the water through repetitive practice and mastery of skills.

  3. Personalized Attention: Smaller class sizes and dedicated time with instructors allow for more personalized feedback and guidance.

  4. Rapid Progress: The intensive nature of the program helps swimmers make noticeable progress in a short amount of time.

  5. Fitness and Conditioning: Daily swimming helps improve overall fitness and conditioning, providing a good workout.

These programs are suitable for swimmers of all levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers, and are often offered by swimming schools, community centers, and athletic clubs.
